According to Good Housekeeping, Simon Cowell, Sofía Vergara, Howie Mandel, and their guest judge, Eric Stonestreet, was awed by Alan Silva after he gave his all during his performance.

As it turned out, Alan isn’t the only talented one in the family as his brother is AGT’s season 11 knife thrower, Alfredo Silva.

Even though the acrobat noted some reservations about being judged for his height, Alan outdid himself during the routine that saw him performing to Sia’s hit single, “Alive.”

Once he was done, Sofia couldn’t hold back her praise as she told him, “that was the performance of a giant.” Although the beloved talent competition show disclosed a few bits of Alan’s story, it turns out there’s more to the performer.

TalentRecap reported a week ago that the acrobat was born in 1982 into a circus family — thus making him a sixth-generation circus performer.

Alan began by taking floor acrobatics training when he was four and as he grew older, he took up trapeze and aerial acrobatics. In addition to his acrobat career, Alan is also a TikTok star who has over 77,000 followers on the social media platform.

Those followers are usually entertained by the videos that show Alan carrying out some at-home aerial dances and even doing hilarious lip syncs. The father of two also posts the occasional video of his daughter showing off her dancing prowess in her high chair.

As it turned out, Alan isn’t the only talented one in the family as his brother is AGT’s season 11 knife thrower, Alfredo Silva. The duo have even been known to appear on TikTok and Instagram videos together.

Alfredo also appeared in “America's Got Talent: The Champions” — whose second season kicked off in January. Good Housekeeping disclosed that while the show started with fifty contestants, it had only had ten people left by February 11.

Some of those ten finalists included Angelina Jordan, V. Unbeatable, Hans, Tyler Butler-Figueroa, Boogie Storm, Marcelito Pomoy, and Sandou Trio Russian Bar.

Even though the finalists gave their best, V. Unbeatable was declared the competition’s Champion during the February 18 finale.
